Summit on Children 2023
we lift Ohio families & build stronger communities:
Summit on Children 2023 brought together interdisciplinary teams of judges and magistrates, children services administrators, prosecutors and defense attorneys, local behavioral health, educators, and other community stakeholders to identify best practices for prevention and intervention and improve outcomes for children and families involved with the justice system in Ohio.
Teams from 52 counties gathered at the Summit on Children 2023. Using strategies and best practices discussed at the conference, combined with their knowledge of the specific needs of their local communities, each team designed a local action plan to increase collaboration and families to access services and improve outcomes.
To develop or advance an action plan in your county, contact the Supreme Court of Ohio Court Services Division Children & Families Section for technical assistance, training, and policy recommendations.
