Office of Public Information

The Office of Public Information is the court’s central communications office. The office manages the court’s main website, www.supremecourt.ohio.gov and www.courtnewsohio.gov, publishes the court’s print publications, corresponds with constituents, responds to media inquiries, staffs the court’s main phone lines and receptionist desk and publishes articles about court cases and administrative activities for distribution as news releases, guest articles and Web content.

Operationally, the Office of Public Information is composed of two parts: a news and information staff; and a publications work group. The news and information staff members are responsible for working with the media, responding to constituent inquiries, drafting oral argument case previews and publishing news articles about court activities and news from the judiciary in Ohio.

The publications work group includes management of the court’s websites and design and development of the court’s publications. The staff also includes a two-person Print Production Center, which produces most court-published materials, including training materials of the Judicial College and materials for various events, programs and initiatives of the Supreme Court.
