Justice Kennedy Receives Leadership Ohio Award

Members of Leadership Ohio Class 23 visited Justice Sharon L. Kennedy at the Thomas J. Moyer Judicial Center on Friday, December 2, 2016, to present her with the 2017 Community Leadership Award.
Leadership Ohio is a non-profit statewide educational program designed to explore the issues, challenges, and opportunities facing Ohio. Class members travel to various Ohio locations to participate in educational excursions, panel discussions, and presentations, and meetings with local leaders and experts.
In May 2016, Justice Kennedy spoke to the Leadership class about the Ohio Judicial System as part of the group's "Government in Ohio" session. Class members later named Justice Kennedy the "most inspiring leader" from their 2016 program and presented her with the Leadership Award.
